Phrasal verbs

1.TEAR -tear down : Tear down so as to make flat with the ground

-tear duct : Any of several small ducts that carry tears from the lacrimal glands

2.FALL -fall army worm: Larva of a migratory American noctuid moth; destroys grasses and small grains

-fall asleep : Change from a waking to a sleeping state

3.BREAK -break down : Lose control of one's emotions.

-break even : Make neither profit nor loss.

4.STAND -stand alone : capable of operating independently

-stand by : Be available or ready for a certain function or service

5.KEEP -keep down : Put down by force or intimidation

-keep back : Remain under control

6.TURN -turn away : Move so as not face somebody or something

-turn back : Retrace one's course

7.PULL -pull at : Pluck or pull at with the fingers

-pull away : Pull back or move away or backward

8.WALK -walk away : Go away from

-walk around : Walk with no particular goal

9.BACK -back circle : A feat in which an acrobat arches the back from a prone position.

-back country : A remote and undeveloped area

10.TAKE -take account : Be fully aware of; realize fully

-take control : Assume control
